QEC Barman and Parrot 1974

the qec barman around 1974 time; with the (in)famous "Size 9 Wellington boot the second" who was the centre of many a student union debate. There was a rump that wanted a parrot for the bar and a majority (always slim) that did not. Hence, the purchase of a toy parrot to try to stop the whole debate.
