During the afternoon of the Annual Reunion 2004 Ann Wood mentioned the Prof Yudkin memorial and a number of us were of course very keen to see it.

The words on the plaque read :

In memory of

Professor John Yudkin (1910 - 1995)

who, with the encouragement of his wife Emily,

established the first

University Department of Nutrition in the UK

Presented by his sons

Michael, Jonathan and Jeremy
