The Annual Reunion and AGM 2015 will take place on Saturday October 3rd at Kings College London, Strand Campus.

Our speaker this year is Professor Colin Sibley. His talk is on

‘The Placenta, Before and After Birth:
A QEC Old Boy’s Research Adventure.’

Colin-Sibley-white-background-e1403261078821Colin obtained a first class honours degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from QEC in 1976 and his PhD in 1980. He worked for three years with Professor Anthony Firth as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Anatomy at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London.

Colin is currently Professor of Child Health and Physiology in the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre in the Institute of Human Development and Director of the Tommy’s Charity, Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre (MFHRC) in Manchester.
