Is there anything else to do near the Franklin-Wilkins Building?

The Franklin Wilkins Building is only 5 minutes walk from Waterloo and Waterloo East stations.  It is also very close to the London Eye, County Hall, National Theatre, National Film Theatre, Royal Festival Hall and Hayward Gallery on the South Bank of the Thames. A 15 minute walk will take you to the Tate Modern and Millennium Bridge.  The area is amply supplied with pubs, wine bars, cafes and restaurants, all within walking distance for you to carry on your reunion after leaving us in the late afternoon. If you prefer, a short bus, tube or taxi ride will take you to Covent Garden and the West End, so you can make the most of the shops and entertainment there.

What are you waiting for - make a day of it!
